NEGOTIATIONS

The Archbishop, the Most Rev. Bernard Ntahoturi, recently took part in a high level meeting of the government, the FNL group, civil society, religious confessions, and the international community that reviewed the implementation of the peace agreement between the Government and the FNL.

Interviewed on national radio, the Archbishop congratulated the parties involved on the progress made so far and called on the international community to maintain its support to the country as the agreement continues to be worked out. “It is one thing to sign an agreement but another thing to translate it into action”, he said.
