Education Round Table

A Round Table was held 22-23 January 2008 under the title of "The Contribution of the Church to the Educational System of Burundi".

It was on opportunity for the Anglican Church, representatives from other denominations, and the Government to engage in some frank dialogue about educational provision in Burundi. Participants from Congo, Rwanda, and the UK joined those from Burundi to share experiences and good practice.

A number of recommendations emerged regarding strategies for the strengthening of understanding and training, the creation of common policies, and the promotion of moral and civil values in Church schools.
